about

Frankie Beverly’s Raw Soul - What Color? AKA Color Blind (alternate take) and previously before never heard instrumental with MASSIVE drums - released digitally May 7th and on 45rpm in the near future. More info in our bio. #whatcolor #colorblind

Thanks to Tom Moulton for mixing these lost classics to make them sound not only as best as possible, but as true to what they would have sounded like when originally released, but in STEREO!. Then Peter Humphreys, the golden ear, mastering things and working as the voice of reason & reality. Both Tom & Peter were there in the 70’s, they lived and breathed these sessions, they dedicated theirs lives to this.. then we have @jeremyzombie - by far the best design guy in the biz when it comes to making you visual feel the release. So detail oriented it’s sick, he tweaks and adjusts till it just feels right.
